Lack of Regulation in Meta’s Horizon Worlds Putting Kids at Risk

The Washington Post (which please note is paywall restricted) writes about how parents and experts are worried about kids being exposed to inappropriate content on Meta’s metaverse platform, Horizon Worlds.

While Horizon Worlds has an 18+ policy, researchers have reported that many kids are using someone else’s account or simply just lying about their age. Review: NASCAR’s Roblox Game Falls Short with Limited Content

Two weeks ago, NASCAR launched their newest Roblox game, ‘NASCAR Speed Hub’. While most companies have just started to enter the meta-galaxy of Roblox, NASCAR has created multiple branded games in the past.

This past week NASCAR Speed Hub has averaged around 100,000 daily active users. Described on their website as “an immersive 3D experience filled with social experiences” (yes that’s actually the phrase they used), I decided to play through and find out what NASCAR Speed Hub had to offer.
